Digital Digest I.

Instead of regularily posting content to facebook (and hence contribute to give the facebook server credibility and function), i thaught i'd sporadically make a daily post, from time to time, digesting the videos, pictures and other content that gets my attention and make me reflect about existencialism, evolution and other love related issues.

"Take the money where it is: the poor! Ok they don't have alot of money, but there are alot of poor!" via Wee Lee Thefoak.

People interested in the leagal issues arround canabis will be happy yo read this. Nobody at Sakrecoer is particulary fund of conspirational theories, yet we believe this article is very relevant and raises alot of interesting questions on the relation between legisaltion and the world economy's interest for profit over rational sollutions.

Illustration and Art

Meet the fantastic work of Angela Ferreira AKA Kruela d'Enfer. Colours, shamanic motives and raw expression. Just about all those things I like in illustration.

Music

I've been hunting talented musicians and quality indy artists ever since i heard the word "creative common". I see it as a game: try to track them down from under the stones where they hide, generaly hopeing for someone like me to find them and love them. Last couple of weeks, i've had the pleasure to discover 2 talented women. De La Montagne and Pauline Croze

Pauline Croze is not only one of those Singer that clashes all melodyned autotunes and the irrelevant female bimbo-singers worldwide. Her lyrics are deliciously full of meaning and powerfull messages, backed up by one of the sweetest and clearest voice i have ever heard.

This video illustrate her true skills and her amazing charisma. French speaking people, may start feeling very beautyfull as they listen the text. Other natives will probably just hear the altruistic truth in her voice.

This song talks about how we saturate the youth with images and virtual effects, desinhibating their flame, turning them into natureless humans with little or no curiosity. Some of the tracks included in this playlist literaly makes me cry of emotions. I let you decide which one touch you the deepest.

De La Montagne is a completly different type of artist, but none the less powerfull! I got introduced to her work thru a collaboration she did with Alto Clark this xmas. What hooked me to the energy of this women is an ackward video wearing the funky name "Don't give this shit more than 23 views". You may know my interest in numbers, hence my fascination for 23. You will soon understand this song is a pure joke, but it shows how spontanous and true this artist and her creative partner are.

But these songs are more "real" or "finished" not to call them "some of my favorits"

Check out her Bandcamp and support!

DJ Willson Soto published a mix 3 month ago that only stroke my attention today and i think this is what anybody needs on a monday :

JUKE & FOOTWORK MIX 2012 PT1 by funkoffury

I discovered Wilson thru my good friend Ola Kalnins in a sweet disco bar called Carib Kreol in Malmö. He basicly sent me to outerspace, playing songs i had never heard, crossing genres with delightfull pertinence, switching from style to genre whilst following a clear and tight red thread thru out the hole session. If i had to put a genre tag on Wilson, it would be "goodMusic"

To finish, a question to you in a hypnotic loop:
"Would it make sense, to strow a little bit of forgiveness on the hate, in order to disolve it?"
